VISION
Our vision is that all children and youth, however disadvantaged, have a right to holistic development and good quality education, and will realise their full potential as individuals and as valuable citizens of our country.
MISSION
We aim to improve the quality of development and education of socio-economically disadvantaged children and youth. We provide technical support in large-scale and smaller interventions by way of programme design, capacity-building, training, action-research, teaching-learning materials, and other resources in the following areas:
- Parent/Caregiver Education for nurturing care of the pre-natal to 3 years age group
- Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) for the 3 to 6 years age group (a sub-stage of the ‘Foundational Stage’)
- Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN)
- Teaching of English in government regional medium schools and for youth outside schools and colleges.
